Josiah Thomas -J.T.- Collett

Josiah Thomas “J.T.” Collett, 28, Carmel, passed away September 1, 2016. He was born October 12, 1987, in Indianapolis, the son of Larry J. and Peggy (Owens) Collett.

Josiah was the proud owner and operator of Collett Renovations and Handyman Services. He was a gifted musician and singer/songwriter and he loved cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed cooking, snowboarding, fishing and boating with his family at Dale Hollow, where many wonderful memories were made.

He is survived by his parents, fiancée, Rachel Enlow; sister, Vanessa Collett; three half-brothers, Kevin William (Nicole) Collett, Julian “Chip” L. (Cindy) Collett, Kenneth Shane (Tina) Collett; grandmother, Audrey Elaine Krawczyk; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents, James Lee Owens II and Julian William and Mary Elizabeth Collett.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at Hope Church, 2500 East 98th Street, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow the services at Hamilton Memorial Park in Westfield. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan – Carmel.
