Josephine E. (Owen) Davis, 91, of Indianapolis, passed awayAugust 19,2016. She was born June 13,1925 in Indianapolis the daughter of the late William H. and Ella M. (Silvers)Owen. She retired in 1986 from RCA as anInspector. Josephine was preceded indeath by her husband, Leon Davis in 2006; a sister, Betty McLean and ason-in-law, Jim Cox.
She is survived by her children, Mary Lou Snyder, Linda Cox,Martha Jean (Mike) Pierce, Leon (Mary) Davis II, Teresa Jo (Garry) Wilson,Donald Ray Davis and Kenneth Allen (Vicky) Davis; 14 grandchildren and 16great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild; Sisters, Martha Reynolds andJeanette Coy and her brother Daniel Owen.
Services for Josephine will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 26,2016 at Flanner and Buchanan-WashingtonPark East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN with visitationfrom 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Burial will be in Washington Park East Cemetery.
