Joseph T. Browning

Joseph T. Browning, 90 of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018.  Joe was born March 18, 1928 in Jericho, KY to the late Evan and Hazel Browning.  He was a US Air Force Veteran.

Joe was a supervisor of assembly at Detroit Diesel Allison for 27 years, retiring in 1989.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, December 1 at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be at noon Monday, December 3 at Our Lady of Peace, 9001 Haverstick Road, Indianapolis.

Joe is survived by his wife, Sylvia; children, Michael G. (wife, Patricia) Browning and Jacqueline K. (husband, Jeffery) Odom; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Robison.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Caleb Browning, Evan Harry Browning, Harold Wayne Browning, and sister, Josephine Boyer.
