Joseph Oldham Ash
69, of Carmel passed away peacefully, surrounded by all those who loved him deeply, on November 22, 2013. Joe was born on February 14, 1944 to Herschel and Eldena (Oldham) Ash. He was preceded in death by his father, Herschel C. Ash and brother Herschel C. Ash, Jr.
Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force. Joe was self-employed as President of Centennial Construction and Remodeling. Joe enjoyed gardening, teaching, and volunteering his time to help his fellow man. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his family. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years: Connie L. (Andrecht) Ash; son, Brent (Krista) Ash of Fishers, IN; daughter, Ronda (Brian) Perkins of Toledo, OH; brothers, David and Frank Ash of Louisville, KY; sisters, Marty Harris of Rock Hill, Mo, Mary Snyder of Yulee, FL, and Patricia Aneszko of Taylorsville, KY, 4 Grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial calling will be Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 1pm-4pm at Flanner and Buchanan- Carmel 325 East Carmel Drive Carmel, Indiana 46032 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
