Joseph L. Brown
January 30, 1954 — November 8, 2016
Joseph Lee Brown, Age 62, passed away peacefully November 8, 2016. He retired after 25 years with Altec Industries.
He enjoyed time with his family, fishing, gardening and playing guitar. Joe will be remembered most for his big heart, helping others and for his love for God.
Joe is survived by his wife; Sharon Brown, daughters; Alicia Gay and Christan McMillin, son; Joseph Brown, Jr., and seven grandchildren; DJ, Emme, Evan, Morgan, Savannah, Braylon and Gavin.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 4-8p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan – Floral Park, 425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222. Visitation hours will also extend to Monday, November 14, 2016 from 9a.m.-11a.m. at the funeral home with the funeral service starting at 11a.m. He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery following the service.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Relay for Life Decatur Township/American Cancer Society.
