Joseph Eugene Moore

Joseph Eugene Moore, 81 of Greenfield passed away on May 24, 2013. He was born June 30, 1931 in Indianapolis, IN to Henderson G. and Louise Wilson Moore who have preceded him in death. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Norma J. Moore, his son, Bill (Judy) Moore, daughters, Sandra (Marty) Wood and Kathy Smith, one brother, three sisters, sister-in-law, Kitty Baker and other loving family in North Carolina as well as seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Joe worked for Indiana Bell for 31 years, retiring in 1984 as a Cable Splicer. He was a loving husband and wonderful father who loved spending time with his family, gardening, Nascar, the Colts, watching old movies and tinkering in his garage. He never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 with a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
