Jordan Robert Kontor

Jordan Robert Kontor, 28, died unexpectedly Feb. 25, 2022. He was born in Indianapolis September 22, 1993. He is survived by his loving family: parents Jeff and Robin Kontor of Noblesville, sisters Courtney Robinson (Matt) (Indianapolis) and Frankie Kontor (Noblesville). He is also survived by his grandfather Frank Kontor and his grandmother Judy Haney. Extended family includes Jordan’s aunt and uncle Sheryl (Kontor) Babb & Scott and cousins Corey and Matt Babb; aunt and uncle Dawn (O’Deen) Wojkovich & Ron and cousins Kevin Wojkovich, Rebekah (Wojkovich) Cooper (Grant) and child Clark Cooper, Gabrielle Wojkovich, Tessa Wojkovich; aunt and uncle Erin (O’Deen) Cook & Jeff and cousins Paige & Brett Cook.  He was predeceased by his grandfather Kenneth O’Deen and his grandmother Gloria Kontor.

Jordan loved his family and friends and went out of his way daily to help anyone who needed it.

Jordan’s circle of friends grew even more after his 2013 Bishop Chatard High School graduation when he attended Vincennes University and Indiana State. Jordan started his own commercial landscape business that flourished in the six years he operated it.

Far beyond education or work, Jordan’s light shined through his generous, kind spirit. He was the first one to help those who needed a helping hand. He was the first one to give a hug when needed. He loved to laugh and have fun, especially with his family. His work ethic was beyond compare as was his kindness to others.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 1 p.m. at St. Pius X Parish at 7200 Sarto Dr. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X. A Celebration of Life will follow at Northside Events & Social Club – 2100 E 71st St, Indianapolis, IN 46220 (formerly the Northside Knight of Columbus).
