Jonathon Phillip "Chase" Stone

Jonathon “Chase” Stone, 33, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1992, in Indianapolis, to parents, Larry Stone and Stacey Havens.

He worked for his father at Central Indiana Cooling and Heating, where he had been employed since he was 16 years old, and loved to play the “BOSS”. Chase enjoyed working and learning the HVAC business alongside his father, brother, and friends. He also took special interest as the company mechanic, making sure work vehicles were road ready.

Jonathon was a true car enthusiast. He was a self-taught master mechanic. He loved nothing more than fixing cars, racing, and drifting. He spent evenings fixing and restoring cars with his father. His happiest days were spent outdoors at the campground, boating and embracing lake life to the fullest with his family. Jonathon’s greatest pride and joy were his daughters, Scarlett aka “Letty” and Isabella aka his “Bella Bean.” He was a devoted and loving father and shared a long-term, loving relationship with Taylor Catherine Lontz.

Jonathon is survived by his two beautiful daughters Scarlett and Isabella; his loving parents Larry Stone and Stacey Havens; siblings Dylan, Cheyenne, and Madelyn; and Grandfather Phillip Stone.

Jonathon is preceded in death by his Grandmother’s Elizabeth Havens and Sally Stone, and his grandfather “Mr. Bob” Havens.

Visitation will take place Saturday June 7, at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East Funeral Home, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229, from 12:00-2:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm. Jonathon will then be laid to rest at Washington Park East Cemetery, next to his grandmother Elizabeth.
