John Woodworth

John H. (Jack) Woodworth, born October 12, 1930 in New York, New York, passed peacefully on August 17, 2015. He loved telling stories of his worldwide travel during his time as a Second Class Machinist in the Navy. After the Navy he spent 37 years working for General Electric. He began his career at GE as an appliance repairman and worked his way up through the company, ultimately retiring as an Area Manager for GE Consumer Service. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time on the golf course and with his family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carmen (Galiano), his sons John (Denise) and Jim (Rita), and his daughter Christine (Sean) O'Connor. Grandchildren Evan (Victoria), Meghan (Jason), Blaise, Emily (Matthew), Eric, Bridget, Collin, Luke, and Alex. Great Grandchildren Thomas, Cooper, Tucker, and Shawn. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10:30 am with calling one hour prior in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Carmel, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Online condolences at Flanner and Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
