John Eric Surface

John Eric Surface, 66, of Carmel passed away April 18, 2024. He was born August 18, 1957 in Anderson.  He married Tamara Groce on April 26, 1997. 

John worked in the steel industry for over 40 years and had made many friends throughout the years. He loved his Corvette, BMW and had a need for speed. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Tamara Surface; four sons, Jake, Eric, Conner, and Caden Surface.  He was preceded in passing by his previous wife, Deborah Surface in 1993.

A Celebration of Life will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park (Prairie Waters), 4180 Westfield Road.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family’s GoFundMe.
