John Steven “Steve” Weisert, 74, passed away on April 15, 2021. Born on February 2, 1947, to John and Mildred Weisert in St. Louis, Missouri, Steve lived the majority of his life in Houston, TX, and Indianapolis, IN. He was an Air Force veteran and a professional engineer who traveled overseas extensively with his career He was a very active volunteer in his church, for the Indiana Transportation Museum, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and two charities; the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul. Steve leaves behind his wife, Mary Carol Weisert, and two children, Michael John Weisert and Lisa Ann Weisert. A third child, Daniel Lee Weisert, preceded Steve in death. Calling will be Tuesday May 4, 2021, from 5 – 8pm, at Flanner Buchanan Mortuary. Zionsville. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 11:30am at St Luke’s Catholic Church in Indianapolis.
