John "Jack" Sembertovich, 76, of Zionsville, IN, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
Jack was born in Passaic, NJ, the son of John and Mary (Chmiel) Sembertovich. He was a US Air Force Veteran and retired from the Clifton, NJ Police Department after 30 years. He was a member of the Clifton, NJ PBA, Local #36. Jack liked to fish and was an avid bowler, having bowled since childhood. He was a member of the Passaic and Bergen County, NJ ABC and the Indy USBC Association.
Jack is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol (Godleski) Sembertovich; his daughter, Eileen Sirola and her husband Richard; his son, Douglas and a grandson, Logan Sirola.
Friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, November 9, 2014, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St., Zionsville, IN 46077. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
