John J. Schneider Jr.

John J. Schneider, Jr., of Indianapolis, passed away November 15, 2025. John was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 1, 1969, to parents John J. Schneider, Snr. and Virginia Mae Schneider (Gallatin).

John graduated from Merrillville High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University. Prior to attending Purdue University, John served his county honorably in the Marine Corps during the Gulf War. During his military career, he was an Honors Graduate from Combat Center Sergeants School, Marine Corps Expert in Rifle and Pistol marksmanship and received a Meritorious Mast for his significant contributions to the Combat Readiness Profile of the Marine Corps Aircraft Group 13. He also served as the Computer Intelligence NCO with Marine Aircraft Group 13 S-6.

During his career, John worked as Senior Manager - Design & Construction for a global real estate development company.

John was a member of American Legion, Marine Corps Association and the Riverbend Gun Club among others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Schneider (Gibson), his parents John J. Schneider, Snr. and Virginia Mae Schneider, his sister, Laura Lempereur (Schneider / Fippen) and her husband, Steven Lempereur, his nieces, Ashley Fippen, and Amanda Moberg (Fippen) and her husband, Scott Moberg.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas of Villanova Church 10am on December 13, 2025, in Palatine, Illinois.
