John D. Rybolt, Sr.

77 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 3, 2026. John was born on December 17, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Fred and Margaret Rybolt. He attended Washington High School. He was a custodian at Noblesville High School. He was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Hammond, daughter Tracy Rybolt, sister Maggie Datson, brother Fredrick Rybolt and his parents. He is survived by his sons John Rybolt, Jr. and Jay Hammond, brother James Rybolt, sisters Lisa and Crystal and two grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 1 pm at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
