Flanner Buchanan-Carmel John P. “Rocky” Adams, 65 of Carmel, IN, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019. John was born July 18, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH to the late John D. and Patricia M. Adams. He attended the University of Cincinnati. John worked in the insurance industry, most recently as a Commercial Lines Senior Underwriter for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. John had many loves in his life, including working on cars “aka the backyard mechanic”, telling jokes to make others laugh, golfing on nice sunny days, shooting pool, listening to rock & roll music, watching football, and his greatest love of all, his family. His everlasting devotion to his family was always his #1 priority. John was also dedicated to his dogs, making personal sacrifices to make certain his pets could live the best life possible. John is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 38 years, Debi Adams, their son, Matt Adams & wife, Cheyanne Adams; grandchildren, Ariana Gillespie and Mason Adams; brother, Robb Adams; sister, Roxanne Gross. Family and friends are invited to gather from 3:00 to 4:00 pm Wednesday, December 4th at Flanner Buchanan-Carmel, where a memorial service will immediately follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the donor’s favorite charity.
