John N Zeigler

John N. Zeigler, 79, passed away on July 18th, 2022 in Noblesville, Indiana.

John was born in Winchester, VA to John J. Zeigler and Elaine Zeigler nee Grim on May 30, 1943. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1965 and married Lynne DeNise of North Plainfield, NJ. He was an officer in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1965 to 1968. In 1968, Captain Zeigler, fulfilled a childhood dream of becoming a special agent in the FBI. He served as a special agent in the Kansas City and Indianapolis Divisions for 25 years, retiring in 1994.

Lynne, his beloved wife of 42 years predeceased him in 2007.

John is survived by his son, John Zeigler (Cindy), daughter Rebecca Grim (Andy), grandchildren Max, Eric, Caroline, Casey and Lindsey.

John was a communicant at St. Christopher Episcopal Church of Carmel, IN.

Private family services are being held at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Hamilton County.
