John Lybarger

John T. Lybarger, born 10/10/1929 and died 12/12/2014 at age 85.He survived his wife of 65 years- Barbara J. Lybarger-by 10 days. He was the son of John H. Lybarger and Beatrice Lightner Lybarger. He is survived by son Randall Lybarger, a daughter, Dawn Austin, grandson Matthew R.W. Lybarger, and sister Betty Beatty. John retired from Conrail at age 62 after many years of service.. Over the years, John showed his many talents through paintings, wood carvings, knowledge of vast array of subjects like weather, geology, flora and fauna, animal and bird life, railroad trivia, airplane types, and one of his major loves-fly fishing.. He had earned a pilot's license. He attended Earlham College in Richmond, IN. and always attended their reunions. He will be greatly missed. If one desires, donations may be given to Salvation Army.
