John Lifton Heavrin, Sr.

John Lifton Heavrin, Sr., 63, Indianapolis, went home to be with his Lord May 1, 2018. John joined the US Army in 1974 and served until discharging in 1990. He went on to become a commercial truck driver for 16 years. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Jackie, children, Sara Ann Niemann, John Lifton Heavrin II (Emily Heavrin), Elizabeth Frances Heavrin, grandchildren, Jamie, Jackson, Sophia, and Cindy, three brothers, and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Helen Heavrin, two sisters, Melinda and Cynthia. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Visitation will be held Saturday at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (Conner Suite) from 10-1pm. Funeral services will be held there at 1pm.
