John King Greer,

93, was ushered into hisheavenly mansion on March 13, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis, attendedShortridge H.S. and graduated from Purdue. After proudly serving in the MarineCorp during WWII, he married Edith ‘Dede’ Spickelmier, who preceded him indeath.

John worked for SpickelmierIndustries, then retired from Aetna Insurance. His passions were CBMC and Biblestudy. He enjoyed his bridge groups and especially loved his time at Wawaseewith family and friends.

He is survived by his brother,Allen, and his daughters, Susan (Jeff) Barnes, Sandra (the late Mike) Humphrey;6 grandchildren, their spouses; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Flanner and Buchanan – Oaklawn MemorialGardens (Conner Suite) on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 1 p.m. with callingfrom 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Contributions may be made to CBMC or Castleview BaptistChurch.
