John Kenneth Schneider Died December 15, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 80. John retired from Naval Avionics and was an innovator in his field. He enjoyed polka and square dancing with his wife Jane. John is survived by his wife of 35 years Jane Schneider; children Vickie Receveur, Cindy (Dave) Corbin, Julie Engelhardt, Andy (Doris) Hohenberger, and Cary (John) Randall; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister Beverly Watt. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Schneider. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the LVAD Cardiovascular Team at Methodist Hospital for making the last 6 years of John's life possible. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 20 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Flanner and Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St. with a Service starting at 1 PM.
