John Junior Royer

91, ofIndianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016. John was born inClay County on October 15, 1924 to the late John and Hester Royer. In 1943,John enlisted in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran.

John was devoted to his family and lovedcamping and fishing. He was a proud cofounder of the Clay City V.F.W.

John is survivedby his loving wife of 68 years, Julia; daughter, Linda (Paul) Parks; son,David Wayne Royer; grandsons, Douglas (Christina) Parks and Bradley (the lateStephanie) Parks; great-granddaughters, Ashley, Chloe and Piper; and sister,Mary June Inman. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe Royer.

Friends may callfrom 12pm to 2pm on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Flanner and Buchanan- Washington Park North, 2702 Kessler Blvd W DrIndianapolis. Funeral services will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Washington Park NorthCemetery.
