John J. Burns

John J. Burns, 70 of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at his home. John was born November 25, 1950 in Indianapolis to the late Edward J. and Mary L. Burns.

John retired as Marketing Director from Universal Supply in 2012 after 15 years of service. He was an avid Colts fan and enjoyed golf and fishing. John was a “tinkerer”, he got much pleasure out of working on home projects. Nothing brought more pleasure to John though than spending time with his grandson, Ian.

John is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Eric J. (wife, Abigail) Burns and Christopher P. Burns; grandson, Ian E. Burns; brothers, Edward J. (wife, Karen) Burns and Joseph J. (wife, Nancy) Burns.
