John J. Abbott

John J. Abbott 83 of Indianapolis, IN passed away July 12, 2014. He was born on June 18, 1931 to the late John and Stella (Smeltzer) Abbott in Caoal Grove ,Ohio. He was a retired Machine Operator at Link-Belt after 18years. He is survived by his children, Joyce (Danny) Baker, John R. "Randy" (Marie) Abbott, grandchildren, Jessica Baker, Joshua and Sara Abbott, sister, Suzanne (Larry) Wells and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nora, parents John and Stella Abbott, brother, Robert Abbott and sister, Carol Morgan. Services will be Wednesday, July 16, 2014 12:00 PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Decatur with visitation there from 11AM. Burial will be in Fairland Cemetery in Shelby Co., IN at 2PM.
