John “Johnny Goodtimes” Michael Guidos of Westfield, Indiana, passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 47. He was born on June 3, 1979, in Rochester, Pennsylvania, to John Joseph and Judith “Judy” (Volitich) Guidos.
Johnny lived life with curiosity, generosity, and an adventurous spirit. Whether building businesses, coaching football, fishing, traveling, or spending time with family and friends, he had a remarkable ability to make every moment memorable. Known for his warmth, humor, and infectious enthusiasm, he made everyone around him feel welcome and valued.
A graduate of Purdue University, where he studied Communications and Political Science and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Johnny later earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law. He built a successful legal career, practicing in several states: Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Washington, D.C., before founding and serving as Managing Partner at Guidos & Associates. He later served as Chief Operating Officer for The Anthos Group and, most recently, as Chief Operating Officer at Established, where he led operations on a strategic consultancy focused on marketing, communications, and events in the innovation sector, and as a Venture Partner at Established Ventures, where he mentored entrepreneurs and helped launch innovative companies across the country.
Outside of work, Johnny was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, football, travel, drones, metal detecting, and searching for hidden treasures. A devoted Purdue, Penn State, and Steelers fan, he also cherished coaching his nephews' football teams alongside his brother. Above all, Johnny's greatest joy was the people he loved.
Johnny married the love of his life, Flora Gitsis, on June 25, 2022, after more than three years together. Their seven-year journey was marked by unwavering love, friendship, and adventure. Flora survives him and is expecting their first child in November.
He is also survived by his parents, John J. and Judith “Judy” Guidos; his brother, James “Jimmy” Guidos (Kendra); his beloved nephews, Kingston and Baylor; and countless extended family members, fraternity brothers, colleagues, founders, investors, and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Eleanor Volitich, and his paternal grandparents, John and Sophie Guidos.
