John 'Grandpa' Heady

John "Grandpa" Heady, Jr., 65, of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015. He was born December 11, 1949 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to the late John C. (Sr.) and Delorus Prather Heady. He was a veteran of the US Army, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War. John is survived by his wife Linda; sons Jeff, Mike (Diana), and Chris; grandchildren CJ, Corbin, Lilly, Elijah, and Samantha; sisters Susan Cooper and Liz; brothers Rudyard and Tom; and many other relatives and friends that were touched by his love, compassion, and generosity. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Joan. No flowers, please. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
