John G. Carty

John G. Carty, 68, Indianapolis passed away July 7, 2015 at home with family. He was born June 23, 1947 in Indianapolis. He was a 1966 graduate of Ben Davis High School. John worked at Carty Cabinets and Custom Cabinets by John Carty for 46 years as a custom cabinet maker and for the past 6 years worked as a courier for CAMP Labs. He was an avid Colts, Pacers and racing fan. He loved spending time with his family and vacationing at the beach. John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn (Weatherford); his children, Pam (Ron) Wittman, Doug (Heidi) Carty and Natalie (Chris) Hausman; his grandchildren, Travis Hinshaw, Kyler Carty, Taylor Hausman, Brynnan Hausman, Chase Carty and Leyton Hausman. He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Carty. Visitation will be 10 am until service time with funeral services at 2 pm Friday, July 10, 2015 at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park, 425 N.
