John Earl Taylor Jr., 78 of Indianapolis died June 15, 2015. John was born July 5, 1936 in Owensboro, KY to John Earl & Thelma Evelyn (Bennett) Taylor Sr. John retired from Eli Lilly & Co. in 1994 as Dept. Head of Capsule Machine Maintenance. Calling will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Flanner & Buchanan-Speedway, 3 to 8 pm with additional calling on Friday, June 19, 10 to 11 am, followed by 11 am funeral service & entombment at West Ridge Park Cemetery. John is survived by his former spouse Carol Kramer Taylor, his children Kelly McPike, John (Laura) Taylor III & Todd (Susan) Taylor, his loving grandchildren, Rob & Ryan McPike, Julia & Emerson Taylor, Lindsey & Tyler Schweitzer & his siblings, Jerry Taylor, Jackie Means & Janet Whitney.
