John David Morgan

John David Morgan Jr., 77 of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday August 15, 2021. He was born on May 31, 1944 in Indianapolis, IN to the late John David and Barbara Ruth Morgan. John served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. After his service he went on to be a letter carrier for the post office, and then to be a bus driver for Warren Central High School. He was a member of the NALC #39, and St. John’s Lutheran Church. John loved to work outside and care for his home.

He is survived by his loving with of over 56 years, Kathleen Ann Morgan; sons, Stephen (Sherri) Morgan, David (Christina) Morgan, James (Jana) Morgan, and Joseph Morgan; grandchildren, Krystal Morgan, Kristin Morgan, Linzie Morgan, Lucas Morgan, Jamie Morgan, and Joseph Morgan; one great grandchild on the way; and brothers, Frederick Morgan, Bruce (Dawn) Morgan, Mark Morgan, and James Morgan. He is preceded in passing by his paternal grandmother, Bertha Morgan; maternal grandparents, Lena and Fritz Neumeister; and his brother, Gary Morgan.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 20, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East, where a funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
