79, Mooresville, IN passed away May 5, 2016. John was born January 22, 1937 in Linton, IN the son of Troy and Myrtle (Clayton) Wessel. John retired from Allison Gas Turbine Engine as a Foundry Technician and was a member of Valley Mills Christian Church where he has served as an elder, he was a former member of Decatur Lions Club. Survivors: wife, Waynetta (Scott) Wessel; children, Julie (Pat) McBee, Alex (Penny) Wessel, Becky Mason and John Dean Wessel, Jr.; brothers, Gene and Harry Wessel; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation, 11 am to 2 pm Tuesday, May 10th at Valley Mills Christian Church 5555 Kentucky Ave. Indianapolis, IN with funeral services following at 2 pm.
