John Cherba, a devoted husband, loving father, and accomplished professional, passed away at 54 on August 18, 2023. Born on March 4, 1969, his legacy is one of dedication and love.

For 23 years, John excelled as Director of Advertising at Gannett, imprinting a lasting legacy. A graduate of Ball State University, he had an unwavering passion for learning.

John's 30-year marriage to Tracy Cherba was a testament to unwavering love. He leaves behind children Kaitlyn and Connor Cherba, a source of pride and joy.

Beyond work and family, John embraced life through golf, brewing beer, and boating. These pursuits mirrored his vibrant spirit and love for sharing life’s moments with those he cherished.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor John Cherba's impact. In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in John's name.
