John Calvary Long

John C. Long, age 55, of Indianapolis, passed away October 4, 2012. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, DeDee; sons: Rodney(Tabitha) Cooper and Chad Long; 7 grandchildren: Rodney, Jr., Jordan, Faith, Hannah, Kyleigh, Kaylah, and Lauren; and sister, Janie Clem. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Long. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 4-8 PM at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held on Monday evening at 7:00 PM . John was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason of The Valley of Indianapolis and Raised a Master Mason at Englewood Lodge # 715 May 23rd 1995 . He is a York Rite Mason, Knights Templar, a member of the Murat Shrine and a Life Member of the Murat Shrine Yacht Club. He is a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Englewood Lodge # 715 Widows Sons Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and listening to music.
