John C. Ruthsatz

John C. Ruthsatz, 69 of Perrysburg, OH, formerly of Westfield, IN, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. John was born August 12, 1947 in Toledo, OH. He attended Miami of Ohio University. John was a US Navy veteran, who served in the Vietnam War.

John was a flight instructor at Flight Safety International in Columbus, OH for the past 11 years. Prior, he was chief pilot for Conseco Insurance in Carmel, IN for 15 years. He was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church and the Genoa Ohio Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 24 at King of Glory Lutheran Church, where family and friends are invited to gather from 10:00 am until the time of the service.

John is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Breanne M. (husband, Blake) Daniels and David J. (wife, Katie and soon to be granddaughter) Ruthsatz; father, Donald L. Ruthsatz, Sr.; brother, Donald L. (wife, Barbara) Ruthsatz, Jr.; nephew, Greg (wife, Beth) Ruthsatz; nieces, Amy Ruthsatz and Jenny (husband, Gary) Vail; great nieces and nephew, Olivia, Violet and Evan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Slater Ruthsatz. John will always be remembered for being a loving husband and wonderful father.
