John C Jones

John C. Jones, 92, of Indianapolis, passed away, April 30, 2014. John was born in Indianapolis, IN, the son of William and Emma Mae (Ellis) Jones. He served in the United States Coast Guard as a Signalman First Class during World War II. He was an accountant with Uniroyal/Michelin Tire and retired in 1985. He was a member of Emerson Avenue Baptist Church. John is survived by his wife Marzee Virginia (Breeden) Jones; son, Robert Jones; daughter Carol Wiker and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Flanner and Buchanan-Washington Park East. Visitation 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2014 at the funeral home.
