John “Jack” Alexander Bagosy, 71, beloved husband, devoted father and proud grandfather, died on November 2, 2010. He was born on August 23, 1939 in Bloomington, Illinois to the late Andrew and Josephine (Dalton) Bagosy. Jack moved to Cicero, Indiana with his parents and siblings in 1941 and from there, to Indianapolis. He attended St. Anthony Grade School, Cathedral High School and graduated from George Washington High School. Jack remained devoted to childhood friends throughout his lifetime. After graduation, Jack worked as a printer until 1972 when he obtained his real estate license. He remained actively engaged in selling new and existing homes until his retirement in 2005. Jack also briefly owned Omega Homes, a custom home building business. Jack was also a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church. He was an avid fisherman and cherished his fishing buddies. Jack spent many happy hours planning his next fishing trip. A witty, passionate man, with a zest for life, Jack was devoted to his family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Margie Gail (Crigger) Bagosy; daughters, Jacqueline Bagosy, Jill (Todd) Wagner, Emily Bagosy; son, Alex (Jennifer) Bagosy; grandchildren, Jack Wagner, Annie Wagner and Claire Wagner. Jack is also survived by his siblings, Stephen (Ruthie) Bagosy and Ann (Jim) Selby, as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his sister, Camilla Bagosy and brother, Andrew Bagosy. A memorial calling will be held Friday, November 5, 2010 from 4 until 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center-Speedway, 2950 N. High School Rd. Additional calling will be Saturday, November 6, 2010 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W. 16th St. from 10am until the time of Mass at 11am.
