John A. Purdy

John A. Purdy 80, Greenwood, died March 4, 2012. John was the co-founder of Purdy Masonry Inc. He was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Craftworkers Local #3 and Greenwood Church of Christ. John was the devoted husband for 61 years of Nevada Purdy. A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. The funeral service for John will be Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2 pm at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral -Decatur with visitation there from noon until the service.
