John A. Pethe

John A. Pethe, 88 of Carmel, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015. John was born August 28, 1927 in Whiting, IN to the late John and Katherine Pethe. He was a WWII US Army veteran. John attended John Herron Art School.

John worked as a Commercial Artist for 40 years, retiring in 1989 from Garrison, Jasper, Rose and Co.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 28 at Carmel United Methodist Church. Calling for friends and family will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the church on Saturday.

John is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marian; children, Neil M. Pethe, Ross A (wife, Luann) Pethe and Lynn J. (husband, Tom) Harris; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Joseph Pethe, Benedict Pethe, Rosalie Lewis and Margaret Jancek.
