Johannes Peeters

Johannes Antonius "Hans" Peeters, 80, of Zionsville passed away December 20, 2014 at his home. He was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, June 5, 1934 the son of Joseph Antoon Hubertus and Martina Henrica (vanHeeswijk) Peeters. He was a mechanic with Taylor Oil Company in Zionsville. Hans was a member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church and was a member of Teamsters Local 135. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Joseph Peeters. He is survived by his wife, Eda Catherine (Spijkermans) Peeters; son, Ronald A. Peeters (Laura); daughters, Michele Peeters Vanags (Einar) and Trisha Peeters Prout (Joe); grandchildren, Rob, Joey, Hans, Jade, Arie, Jakob and Evan; brothers, Henk and Tony Peeters; sister, Marie Jose de Man; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 1870 W. Oak Street, Zionsville, IN 46077. Burial will be in Union Lutheran Cemetery in Zionsville. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday at Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville, 105 W. Pine St. Zionsville, IN 46077.
