Joe Leon Edds

Joe L. Edds 91, of Avon, IN, passed away September 27, 2012. He was born November 24, 1921 in Sullivan, IN son of Ernest and Stella (Robertson) Edds. He was a US Navy Veteran and retired from AT&T after 35 years. His parents and his wife, Roberta preceded him in death. Joe is survived by his daughter, Diane Baker of Kokomo, IN; sons, Joe Edds, Jr. of Avon, IN and Hubert L. Huber of Brownsburg, IN; and sisters, Neddie Milburn, Betty Edds and Mary Holtz; 6 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 11-2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, with funeral services at 2:00 p.m., at Flanner and Buchanan-Floral Park , 425 N. Holt Rd. Indianapolis, 46222.
