Joe Hicks

Joe Hicks, 73, of Zionsville passed Monday July 29, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Becky, brothers Larry and Toby Hicks; sons Greg McDaniel (Kim), Terry McDaniel, Larry Hicks; daughter Sarah Craig (Chris); grandchildren Matthew and Kyle McDaniel. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. Born and raised in Langley, KY Joe always had a passion for the outdoors, whether it be fishing, deer hunting, mushroom hunting he enjoyed the great outdoors. After graduating Langley High School he joined the United States Navy serving our country proudly. Building on his passion for the outdoors Joe owned and operated Joe Hicks Excavating for 33 years. Joe will always be known for his compassionate and caring nature to all that were blessed to know him. Visitation will be held Friday August 2, 2013 from 4:00-8:00pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Zionsville with Service on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 10:00am with Burial to follow at Zionsville Cemetery.
