Joe Allen Parker

Joe Allen Parker, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012. He was born on September 29, 1939 in Robinson, IL to Charles and Annabelle (Lutton) Parker. The family moved to Indiana in the early 1940's, and Joe graduated from Anderson High School in 1957. He was employed by Coca Cola as a Route Salesman for 42 years prior to his retirement. Joe enjoyed many things in life, including numerous trips to Gatlinburg, TN with family and friends. However, what he loved most was his family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice (Robinson) Parker; children, Julie Parker and Jimmy (Kristen) Parker; grandsons, Griffin and Gannon Parker. Joe is also survived by brothers, David and Donald Parker; sister, Janice Golish. Funeral services for Mr. Parker will be held at New Hope Church, Greenwood on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 10am. Visitation will be Monday evening from 4 until 8pm at Flanner and Buchanan – Speedway. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
