Joanne M. Allgeier

Joanne M. (Kaiser) Allgeier, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 28, 2022.  Born in Louisville, KY, Joanne is survived by her loving husband, of 71 years, Nicholas Allgeier, six children; Cyndy Bordigon, Angela Hruban, Theresa (Ray) Miller, Nick (Zinia) Allgeier, Anna (Scott) Morin, Maria (Mike) Dick and her brother, William (Jackie) Kaiser.  Predeceased, by siblings, Delores, Robert, Eileen and Kenneth and son in laws, Gary Bordigon and Ronald Hruban.  She truly loved her 14 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Joanne enjoyed playing the piano and playing in a Euchre club with friends for over thirty years, a member of The Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority – Alpha Alpha Chapter, China Painting Club, and The Red Hat Society.  She will be truly missed by her large family and many endeared friends.  The family would especially like to thank the cardiac critical care team at IU Methodist for their compassion and care.

Visitation will be at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd. West, Indianapolis, IN 46228 on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 9 am to 10:30 am with funeral service to follow at 10:30 am. Graveside prayer thereafter.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kappa Kappa Sigma, C & D, LLC.  5610 Crawfordsville Rd. Suite 1602, Indianapolis, IN 46224-3784.
