Joanne Bouchard Robins

Joanne Bouchard Robins, 91, of Indianapolis, died February 17, 2012. Joanne was born June 30, 1920 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Harry and Vernona Hutton Bouchard; they preceded her in death as did her husband of 53 years, Clifford Robins. She was raised in Michigan, China, and Wyoming Joanne was a graduate of the University of Michigan and Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She raised her 5 children while moving frequently due to her husband's business. Together, they enjoyed their life of travel throughout the United States including travels across Europe. Mrs. Robins is survived by her children, Douglas F. Robins (Deborah), Laura Robins-Morris (Robert), Kathryn Palma (Anthony), Marie Bates (Michael), and Tess Robins (Edward Cosgrove). She is also survived by her grandchildren, AJ Palma and Kristina Wykeham; her great-grandchildren, Griffin and Jasper Wykeham; her sister, Beatrice McLogan; many nieces and nephews. A private Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church in Zionsville. Burial will follow at Zionsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Student Parish, 331 Thompson, Ann Arbor, MI 48104-2295. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Zionsville.
