Joanne Bennett Frink Tarshes

Joanne Bennett Frink Tarshes passed away August 15, 2022. She was born on March 27, 1932 Bean Blossom, IN. Joanne was raised by her maternal aunt and husband Lottie and Aurie Landers. Joanne graduated from Carmel High School in 1950 and she graduated as an Registered Nurse from Indiana University School of Nursing. After graduation Joanne worked at Coleman Women’s Hospital in the nursery. From 1960 through 1974 she worked in the office of Dr. L. S. Bailey in Zionsville. She also worked in the area in nursing homes before retiring in 1983.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Susie Jackson. Joanne is survived by her husband Jerry Tarshes, daughters, Beth Ann (Jake) Passwater and Cathy (Gordon) Haag and son in law Court Jackson and step children Deb (Steve) Catton and Dave (Debby) Tarshes and her 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A Committal service will be held on Friday August 19, 2022, at 1:30 at Flanner Buchanan-Oaklawn. Private burial will take place at Congregation Beth-EL Zedeck Memorial Park North Cemetery. Flanner Buchanan-Zionsville are handling arrangements.
