Joan Russell Hughes

Joan (Ellett) Russell Hughes 91 of Avon Indiana formerly Indianapolis died September 05, 2015. Joan was born in Marion, IL to Doss and Josephine (Nicholson) Ellett. Joan was a member of the Church of the Master. Joan was preceded in death by her first husband Arch Russell and then by her second husband Lyle Hughes. She loved animals and was involved with the Home for Friendless Animals and a member of F.A.C.E. Calling will be held on Thursday September 10th at Flanner and Buchanan-Speedway from 10 am to 2 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery. Joan is survived by her daughter Christina Jo (Charles) Ryker. The family would like to acknowledge the Staff at Traditions at Regan Park and Seasons Hospice for all of the love and support and care that they have provided during this difficult time for Joan and the family.
