Joan Hoierman-Epperly, Fashion and design aficionado, lover of new experiences, foodie, and classy dresser died on Monday, September 20, 2021.

Raised in Virginia where her father worked as an aeronautical engineer, she especially loved spending time with her sister Peggy in Palm Beach, Florida where they enjoyed the life of young socialites.

Joan was an accomplished interior and architectural designer educated at the University of Alabama. She worked professionally in Florida for many years prior to moving to Indianapolis. Joan’s pride and joy was her ability to take the hum drum and turn it into something extraordinary. She spent her life in the pursuit of interior design and fashion.

She was pre-deceased by her husbands Ray Hoierman of Florida and Harrison Epperly of Indianapolis. Survived by her nephews James Talbott of Portugal and William Talbott (Gayle) of Denver Colorado.

Services will be held at the Washington Park North cemetery on Tuesday September 28, 2021.
