Jimmie D. Hofer

Jimmie D. Hofer, 79 of Westfield, passed away Monday July 30, 2018. Jimmie was born on November 4, 1938 to the late Harry and Rose (Borror) Hofer. He was a proud Air Force veteran, and a retired police officer. Jimmie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Jimmie is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Betty Hofer; children, Jeffrey (Andrea) Hofer, Christina (Tony) Johnson, Michelle (Paul) Hochgesang, and Andrea (Brandon Krom) Knoy; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Debbie) Dickerson. He is proceeded in passing by his parents; brothers, Harold and Vernon Hofer; and sister, Margaret Delp.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday August 2, at Flanner Buchanan – Carmel. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association.
