Jill Renee Allen

Jill Renee Allen, 69, of Carmel, IN, passed away after a long illness on July 7, 2021. She was born to Delores Criscione and the late James Criscione on June 14, 1952, in Joliet, IL.

Jill and her husband, the late Jim Allen, were avid travelers and especially loved cruises. Together they visited Alaska, the Caribbean, the Galapagos Islands, Europe via the Mediterranean and Baltic Seas, Tahiti, Costa Rica, and more. After Jim’s passing in 2013, Jill continued to travel and revisited some of their favorite places around the world. When her illness made travel difficult, she kept busy by enjoying lunch with friends, winning trivia games, and relaxing with a good book. Above all, Jill was a devoted wife and mother, and she absolutely adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Delores Criscione; children, Brett Allen (Arielle Kuperberg) and Julie Allen (Michael Hoffmann); siblings, Jan Moehrlin, Bob Criscione, and Joy Marchiniak; grandchildren, Calliope and Winter. Jill was predeceased by her father, James Criscione, and her loving husband, Jim Allen.

Please join us in celebrating her life on Friday, July 23rd at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM and a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM.
