Jill Ellen Martin

Jill Ellen Martin, 57, Tampa, FL went home to be with her Lord April 1, 2022. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN to Jerre Byron Nichols and Lana Jean (Ponto) Nichols.  She sought much of her life’s joy in being a loving wife and mother, a fabulous cook, and a fierce Scrabble player under a hot Florida sun. She had a million dollar smile that would light up any room, keen sense of humor, kindness and love for others remained prominent throughout her life.  

 Jill attended Carmel H.S. and Ball State University (Dean’s List). She then went on to Co-Own Kid’s World Daycare Company, Fishers Indiana with her husband Robert for over 23 years. 

 Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Robert Eugene Martin, daughter Britney (Martin) Warner, Son-In-Law Colin Warner, grandchildren Lana Warner, Elyse and Hudson Martin, Mother Jean Nichols and brother Jay Nichols. 

Preceding her in death is her father Jerre Byron Nichols and meeting them in heaven after her passing is her son Austin Martin.

Memorial Service:  July 16, 2022 (1:00 pm)
