Jewel Irene Green

Jewel Irene Green, 90, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away July 4, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 27, 1933, in Lafayette, Tennessee to the late Hiram and Mary Elizabeth (Andrews) Hudson. Jewel retired from American Art Clay Co. after over 40 years. She was generous, enjoyed watching TV Game Shows, spending time with her family, and was a bit stubborn at times, yet you did not have to guess what her thoughts or opinions were as she freely shared them to those who would listen. Jewel is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Moore, her grandchildren, Laura Moore (William Barclay), Nicholas Moore (Sabrina McLane), her great grandchildren, Landon Moore, Franklin Moore, and her sister, Hazel Morgan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Green, her sister, Ruth Ellis, and her brothers, Eddie Hudson and Willard Hudson.
Visitation for Jewel will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township. Additional visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023, 11:00am-1:00pm CDT with the Funeral Service following at 1:00pm CDT at Anderson & Sons Funeral Home 997 Tennessee 52 Bypass East Lafayette, Tennessee.
