Jessie Reed Short

Jessie “Reed” Short, 78, of Indianapolis passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and grandfather. Following his service in the United States Air Force, Reed started a roofing career at Sink & Edwards Roofing. In 1978 he joined his brother and became Guaranteed Roofing, Inc. He was a 61 year member of the Roofers Union Local #119. He was a devoted member and elder of the South Keystone Church of Christ. Reed leaves behind his loving wife of almost 57 years, Sue (Sanders); 2 daughters Wendy Short; Peggy Gregerson and husband (Gerry) and 1 son Michael Short and wife (Tonya); 3 sisters and 1 brother; 5 grandchildren; and a host of many relatives and friends.
